Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ReferHive ("ReferHive", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use ReferHive. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to other users.

ReferHive offers the following services, all subject to these Terms:

• Jobs: employers and referrers can post roles; job seekers can browse and apply.
• Referrals Marketplace: a space for verified employees to receive and act on referral requests for openings at their companies.
• Mentorships: mentors publish profiles and availability windows; mentees request sessions, which ReferHive helps coordinate.
• Courses: instructors publish learning content; learners can enroll, consume, and review.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information.
• Harass, spam, defame, or threaten other users.
• Post discriminatory job listings or content that violates applicable law.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform data without permission.
• Interfere with the Platform's security or normal operation.
• Use the Platform to solicit business unrelated to its intended purpose.

Referrers help surface candidates to their employers but do not guarantee interviews, offers, or hiring outcomes. ReferHive is not a party to any employment relationship that may follow. You agree not to demand or accept off-platform payments in exchange for referrals; any applicable referral fees are processed through ReferHive.

Mentor availability windows displayed on the Platform are informational. After a booking request, ReferHive coordinates the final time between the mentor and mentee. Mentors are independent of ReferHive and provide guidance based on their own experience — they do not speak on behalf of any employer. Cancellations and refunds, where applicable, follow the policy shown at the time of booking.

Instructors retain ownership of their course content and grant learners a personal, non-transferable license to view it. Learners may not download, redistribute, or resell course material. Instructors are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what they publish. Refunds for paid courses follow the policy displayed on the course page.

Employers and referrers are responsible for the accuracy of their postings and for complying with all applicable employment laws. ReferHive may remove postings that violate these Terms or applicable law.

Certain features may require payment. Fees are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers, and you agree to their terms. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

The Platform, its branding, and all content created by ReferHive are owned by ReferHive or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, course material, mentor profiles) and grant ReferHive a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate the Platform.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ReferHive does not guarantee employment, income, mentorship outcomes, or specific learning results. We do not endorse or verify every user, posting, mentor, or course.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReferHive and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold ReferHive harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or for other lawful reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
